The Radnor Township includes Radnor, St. Davids and Wayne. Although
most Main Line dwellers commute to the city for work, Radnor Township is considered
home for many corporate headquarters, and offers inhabitants the convenient possibility
of working in their home town. With a strong income base, Radnor is one of the most
affluent regions of the Main Line. The township’s average per capita income is more than
double that of the statewide average. In 1990, for example, the Township’s average per
capita income was $28,516, as compared to Delaware County’s $17,210 and
Montgomery County’s $21,900.
