Easttown Township, PA Community Guide for Buyers and Sellers

Located in Chester County, Easttown Township is a quaint community of just 10,477 residents as of the 2010 census.

The land that would become this township was originally part of the Welsh tract, which was a large expanse of land that was promised by William Penn to a group of Welsh Quaker settlers.

The township is believed to have been incorporated in 1704.

The community grew overtime and even saw a Revolutionary War skirmish within its borders during the 1700s.

Overtime, the community has had to work hard to maintain its autonomy, especially given the rising threat of Philadelphia’s sprawling borders.
