Main Line Dining Options
Dining in the Main Line is truly an experience in diversity. Here, patrons seeking a rural, urban or family-oriented venue, or those looking to expand their palates towards more international foods, will have no trouble finding a place to eat.
Here is a list of some of my favorite restaurants:
• Classic Diner
352 Lancaster Ave, Malvern.
Great for breakfast. Try the poached eggs with hollandaise
• The Grog
863 W. Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr.
The best burger on the Main Line. You can eat with the kids in the low-key upstairs dining room.
• Teresa’s Café
124 N. Wayne Avenue, Wayne.
Dinner for two at this modern Wayne BYOB usually costs less than $30 – try the pasta bolonese and one of the light (ricotta, basil, plum tomatoes) brick oven pies.
4348 Main Street, Manaynk
Teppan (tableside) cooking is always a hit with the kids.
• Ruby’s Diner
Suburban Square, Ardmore
Serving classic, 50’s themed American food. Always a favorite with the kids, but watch out for that long wait for lunch.
• Lourdas Greek Taverna

Authentic Greek casual dining, fresh seafood, byob.
