Main Line Recreational Facilities and Activities
Because of its historical significance and its warm, wonderful atmosphere, the Main Line has become a popular tourist attraction. The region offers several recreational facilities, as well as 75 national parks. Valley Forge Park, the most famous of these parks, allows locals to go hiking, bicycling, sledding, rowing, and serves as a prime tourist attraction and destination.

Main Line towns also offer several championship golf courses, a cricket club, and finally, a hunt club. Horseracing and riding are very popular activities, as is demonstrated in the World-Class Horse Show and Country Fair in Devon. Entertainment is not lacking in Main Line. Mainstream movie theaters can be found in most Main Line neighborhoods, as well as a variety of restaurants, lively bars and music venues.
The Main Line is also known for its farmer’s markets. The Ardmore Farmer’s Market and the Wayne Farmer’s Market both are popular attractions, offering both tourists and residents wholesome, fresh foods.
